The SKIL 1144 is a 1200W car polisher for the removal of scratches on cars or boats, to enhance the car’s appearance or for removing rust and oxidation from aluminium, steel and other metals. Its compact and lightweight design reduces fatigue when polishing large surfaces. The soft start function ensures a smooth, controlled start-up of the polisher, reducing splashes of polish when you switch on the tool. The variable-speed control enables you to match the tool’s speed to the job. For your convenience you can lock the trigger for continuous polishing. What’s more, the constant speed electronics make sure the speed remains constant regardless of the pressure you apply, ensuring an even polishing result. The D-shaped side handle and rear handle with soft grip provide optimum comfort in every working situation. The SKIL 1144 has a Velcro backing pad for fast and easy accessory changing and is supplied with a woollen, a soft foam and a hard foam pad.
