The SKIL 0520 ‘Ranger’ is a tool that measures the length, surface, volume and temperature of target surfaces with ultrasonic waves. With a measurement range up to 15 metres, this tool easily measures indoor distances. Just aim the SKIL 0520 towards the target surface at a 90° angle, by aligning the bubble levels, and press the ‘read’ button. The laser target indicates where the ultrasonic signal is reflected. You can simply convert the measurements from metres to feet and the other way around by pressing the button. For your convenience, the SKIL 0520 can add up to 10 measurements and it has a recall function for correcting previous measurements. This ultrasonic dimension measure is supplied with a handy bag for your belt and one 9V battery, so you can get started right away!
