Product Description
Electronically controlled heat gun with LCD display
The SKIL 8040 is a powerful 2000W heat gun that is ideal for a wide range of jobs like removing paint and stickers, waxing and dewaxing skis and much more. This heat gun is electronically controlled, which means that electronics prevent the tool from overheating by continuously monitoring the temperature level of the tool. This allows you to use nozzles with small diameters for various soldering, desoldering and welding jobs. The heat gun is compatible with the most common, widely available heat gun nozzles on the market, so you can always find the right nozzle for your job. With the handy LCD display you can exactly set the right temperature and airflow settings for your job. You can select temperatures ranging from 50 to 650°C and you can choose from five airflow settings between 250 and 500 l/min. The unique nozzle-eject function allows safe instant removal of nozzles, especially when they are hot, for fast switching between nozzles for different applications. The SKIL 8040 GA is supplied in a carrying case with a reduction nozzle, a reflector nozzle, a 9 mm reduction nozzle and a flat nozzle.
