What type of staples and nails can I use?

Not all tackers can both staple and nail, so before you buy, take some time to think about what you want to use the tacker for. If you’re only going to use the tacker to upholster furniture, stapling is all you need. If you also want to fix wooden panels in place, say, you could really do with a tacker with a nailing function too.

Different tackers use different sizes of staples and nails. Always check the packaging to see whether nails or staples are suitable for your tacker.
